Make a difference, every single day

When you work at Abacus, you have the privilege of walking alongside the people we support as they build independence, connection, and confidence in their lives.

A smiling man wearing a black sweater and a navy flat cap standing outdoors in front of apartment buildings and a grassy area.
A young woman with long brown hair smiling outdoors, wearing a gray coat and a large plaid scarf, in a garden or backyard setting.
A woman with shoulder-length blonde hair wearing a light beige trench coat, standing outdoors with a green shrub background, smiling and talking to someone partially visible in pink clothing.

However the story’s started, you can be a part of its exciting next chapter.

We support adults with a range of complex needs, including learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions and behaviours that may be deemed challenging. Some people we work with have experienced trauma or placement breakdowns. Others are at the beginning of their journey toward greater independence.
